Kreyòl Open Labs

Kreyòlification of the World. A non-profit association for technological education — Guadeloupe, French Caribbean. Open source.

Who we are

Kreyòl Open Labs is a non-profit association dedicated to technological education. We were born from one conviction: code must speak the language of humans. So we built a programming language, KREYOL, and the whole chain around it — so that a child, a teacher or a shopkeeper can write a program in the language they actually speak.

What we build

One language, every language

KREYOL is polyglot by design: the same program can be written in Kreyòl, French or English, and the lexer understands all of them. A beginner writes in the language they speak; the same program stays readable by the next reader, in another language.

Education

Teachers already use this platform to teach mathematics, code and logic. We provide teacher resources, thematic project collections ("Studios") for classrooms, and an educational hub. From a child's first word to a certified program, in one toolchain.
